In my 79 4-cylinder turbo everytime i got on the throttle hard it would sputter and stall. Then it would only sputter between 1000 and 2000 rpms, and eventually it was back close to normal. I'm thinking carbuerator? Any thoughts?------------------ 1989 5.0 LX ragtop 1979 Indy Pace Turbo

Still hesitant at low rpms. Fuel Filter? Fuel Pump?

I would say carb as well, but I'd check your fuel pressure with a guage while your driving to see if there's a drop while your tapping the throttle.------------------ Sub Stanger/1990 LX 5.0 convertible (AOD to T5 conversion in progress)& the meat in the famous "SUB SAMMICH"!
