Hey i was wondering if anyone can give me any info or websites on how to swap a v10 into a 79-80 foxbody. iv already bought a 2000 v10 with 10k miles on it i just need some info on what all needs to be done. i here the oil pan from the truck wont fit and that id have to use a tublar (mod motor) K-Member? is there a way to mod my k member to fit a mod motor (the v-10) i here the mounting holes are 3/4 of an inch back tords the firewall. would drilling/cuting new holes 3/4inch back make it fit? any help is grately needed. Thanks

-Robert W.
p.s im droping this motor in my 1980 capri.

I know that I heard about or saw one somewhere.

I'll think about it and it will come to me eventually.

sweet. let me know if you remember/if you find any info... i know theres a guy at www.bv10motors.com and another one at www.highlander.stangnet.com/v10.htm but none of them are 79-93 fox bodys. as far as i here you need a 4.6 k-member and 4.6 mounts and manual brakes to fit it. but id like to have more info b4 i take a rout that im not to sure about. but the one thing that bugs me is that i havent seen/herd any info about outing that motor in a 79-93 stang. well if you find any info please let me know!. thanks alot.
