I know how you feel. I've been waiting all summer to pull out the tranny and replace the disc(s), pressure plate, and throwout bearing....Still haven't ordered anything yet. Someday

I ordered a new clutch kit from Summit. I got the King Cobra. I'll let you know how I like it once I get it on the road! This is my daily driver, so I'm extra itchy!!

Decided to use the hangers, eh Dave? Keep us updated!Max, consider D&D Performance. Their advertisement is always on page 2 of any Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords magazine. You can also check them out at www.DDPerformance.com I purchased my clutch setup from them last year. I spoke to Don Walsh himself (the owner of D&D) and was very impressed. He is retired from Ford Motor Company and was the head engineer for drivetrain development. Their customer service was fantastic too! When the package arrived, it had been damaged in transit and the clutch disk was missing. Either that or someone busted it open and stole it. Either way, Mr. Walsh sent me a replacement disk immediately, without question or hassle, and even threw in a heavy duty pilot bearing at no charge. The clutch has been fantastic too. I purchased the 10.5 Cobra clutch kit for 149$. Consider them when it comes to purchasing your stuff. Stewart

Yeah, after lifting the cats section, I got a better idea of how much weight I'd be putting on the headers and mufflers. I figured I'd be much smarter to try and support that somehow. The hanger was $42 from Ford, but that assumes I'll ever get it. I ordered it a week ago, and it was supposed to be in last Tuesday, then by Friday for sure, now we're back to Tuesday again. I have finished EVERYTHING that I can possibly do to it until I get that part. Even put the synthetic fluid in it. I used that drill pump technique. That worked great. I got the seat back in it and actually sat in it and shifted through the gears!! I have a very itchy ignition finger!!! Might have lost my hearing though! Just how loud would it be?
