Allright all you convertible owners out there... I've got a question. You know the hooks right? They grab a little recessed plastic area at the top corner of the windshield piller... Am I describing this right? I dont know the proper name of it but I do know that if you are traveling down the highway at 90 and they give out, the top will become a great big sail ... In any case, I need 2 of these, one LH and one RH... does anyone know if they are made in stainless or alum.? tnx.

Hey mvendl i know exactly what you are talking about mine are cracked right in the middle on the thinnest part. Seems like a piss poor place to use plastic!!!!! Anyway i was gonna go to the ford dealer and see what they get for new ones. Just not in a big hurry right now as i leave the top down because some small pieces of hail went right thru the darn thing. LOL Should be getting a new top before winter. I just keep spending money on other things, no big deal because she mainly just sleeps in the garage.(my car that is)

Yeah, no kidding. Do you happen to know the name of this annoying little part? Or, does anyone else for that matter. I'm not having much luck finding these online and I dont have a shop manual for my car yet...
