I'd bet it's your clockspring. I'm not sure though, because I don't have a code chart.Watch the flashes. If it gives you three flashes, then a pause, then four flashes, that's a code 34. My '94 F-150 is flashing a code 12 and a code 21, but I have yet to investigate and find out what the codes signify. It's been my understanding that is isn't uncommon for the clocksprings to go out in the Fox Chassis Mustangs. Stewart

My Ford service manual has 72 pages related to diagnosing the airbag system in your car. Each trouble code has 2 to 3 pages of wiring and pin checks as well as diagnostic procedures. I'd highly recommend that you take it to someone competent for diagnosis and repair if you want to get it fixed before you start throwing parts at it.

Easy way to tell if it's your clock spring....if the clock spring has failed, you won't have a horn or cruise control either. They all run in a series of parallel wires that is wrapped around a whole rack of times inside a sealed plastic cylinder. Those wires have a tendency to break...causing a loss of power to all accessories in the steering wheel. Though possible, it's unlikely that you broke only the wire portaining to the airbag. What you really need to know about that light is that when it flashes.....your airbag isn't working. Take it to a shop, and have it checked out. It's a major pita to try and diagnose that thing yourself without the proper equipment.------------------ -FISHTAIL 92GT "The Ghetto Sled" CMPS major @ University of MD college park Best ET/MPH thus far: 14.40/100.67mph....damn wheel spin. Thank you guys for all your help. I know that my horn and cruse control still work properly. I was thinking that it might be corrosion. I live in the Northwest and that happens allot up here.
