You know the standard upholstery on a '71-'73 looks better than the Mach 1 and is much cheaper. You think they'd go for those?------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '70 Mustang Convertible - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 XL

Steve, you really think so? My Mach came with the standard interior, and I upgraded to the Mach interior and I much prefer it.

I'm just not crazy about the angled vertical stripes, although it looks much better in some colors than others. But that's purely a subjective thing, of course.------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '70 Mustang Convertible - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 XL

I guess that is true, with my ginger interior, you get ginger, with ginger stripes and ginger piping. The diferences between it and the standard interior is mostly the fake comfortweave, and the pattern.

well, I just hit a brick wall....was talking to Mark Stacy (Stacy's Concourse Restoration) and he "reminded" me that the Mach I upholstery is made for a fastback (I have a convertible).....therefore, the rear seat upholstery is totally different *lol*....been talking to Rick at NPD....going to take a step back and figure what I'm going to do.....

Did they do the convertible in the deluxe pattern. While not the sports ibnterior, it is a step above the standard upholstery.

My car is red with black stripes. Lots of people put the black w/ red stripes Mach 1 seat covers in, but I think that is horrible. Mine has the black w/ grey stripe interior, and black carpet with matching grey 'runners'. I love the look.
