When I went for the interview that children go through prior to entering Kindergarten, back in the summer of 1972, the first question they asked was: "What is your name?"I immediately responded, in a bold voice: "David Baltzer is my name and Poker is my game!" Even then, I guess I instinctively knew that you never get a second chance to make a first impression. I couldn't understand why a lot of the other kids were crying and wanting their Mommies to take them back home. It was all a great adventure, to me. I'll bet Harry Balz is a Poker fan, too. You can interpret 'Poker' any way you choose. ------------------ David Spread Joy. Less cholesterol than butter! 1978 LTD II 2 Door 1979 Ranchero GT

I remember that. CFOX did that one as part of their "Toughest Contest Ever". They spelled the name "Haywood Jablome" to get around the censors. Another guy had to pose nude for a picture with only a baseball cap to cover himself and they put the picture on a billboard in Downtown Vancouver for 2 weeks. Another entry had a couple who had never met fly to Vegas and get married. These are the same guys who used to phone up people and businesses in different cities that were playing against the Canucks in the playoffs and make Hockey Harassment Phonecalls. Not quite Howard Stern but still pretty out there...
