One day about 6 yrs. ago while riding around the yard mowing I got to thinking, shouldn't I be figuring out the set- up for the car this weekend or watching the weather channel to see if it's gonna rain the races out? This line of thought created an idea! Can I use some sort of Pyschology to get my wife to mow the grass? forever? Well it took several weeks but I did it. Everytime she came outside I would jump off the mower, run to where she was and tell her this was man's work and highly dangerous and under NO circumstances would I ALLOW her to be anywhere near this complicated piece of machinery. I did this for 3 weeks. I also selected 3 or 4 nice azelea bushes for termination ( I ran them over ) I also re-emphasized my personal trump card I use whenever things seem bleak and I quote " baby I'm sorry about this surely you must realize all men are pigs and we cannot help the gender we are born into " flash the baby blues. After 3 weeks she was asking/ telling me " I don't see why I couldn't ride around like that on the mower it doesn't look that hard to me." ( she took the bait) I didn't give in too soon. I didn't want her to get suspicious. Well soon enough I had her mowing with cutoffs and halter top, which improves the scenery as well as gets lawn cut. Only drawback is 1. the mower has to crank and run with ZERO problems. I 've had to buy one mower due to lack of someone not checking the oil. ( I took the blame ) As we approach another summer down south I am looking forward to spending time in my shop building a fresh back up motor ahhhh LIFE IS GOOD !

My opinion: in A perfect world the woman would be doing the trim work on the yard while I mowed then when the yard work was finished she would then come to the garage to help build the backup motor.

Hate to disagree with you my friend but in a perfect world there is NO Trim work, the whole yard is cement, aka starting line type cement and grass is in the pasture across from your house where the cows graze peacefully until you fire up the alky motor and old man Gandy comes over to ask just what is it that makes all that noise anyhow? And he winds up helping you and telling you old war stories of how they hopped up a willys jeep in the army. About that time your drop dead good looking wife brings you ice cold sweet tea or a cold brew and announces supper will be warm and ready when ever you are, and on her way out of the shop she slips a note in your coveralls that says she would like for you to join her AND Trish Stratus from WWF in the hot tub later. Then while relaxing in the hot tub with the two beauties Ed McMahan pops buy with a abnormally large sweepstakes check and announces that it will be tax free. NOW THAT IS A PERFECT WORLD!

My wife drive the lawnmower.....NO WAY, I don't have time to fix all the stuff she would tear up by running over shrubs, rakes, hose and probably even trees......much quicker to cut the grass my self.....obviously I'm married to a regular girl and not a GRRL.
