ok so most of you know that I'm moving to NC to be with my hunnie Derek aka RancheroSandraGayle.I have never lived with a boyfriend before, had male roommates but that's totally different.
Anyone here can give me some advice on how to help things work smoothly? What can I do? What can he do? Are there any do's and don'ts I should know about? I know consideration, understanding and patience is a start, but I was hoping some of you would enlighten me with your wisdom as I am a 22 year old pup just startin out in the world *lol* ------------------

Wow!! 22 is a tough age to start as a couple. You two will change soooo much in the next ten years.I'm thinking that being divorced twice, maybe I'm not the one to give advice, but I have learned a lot in the last twenty years. The one thing I can't stress enough is communication. You two have to talk about EVERYTHING. That also includes being a good listener too. You can't just assume the other person knows what you're thinking (angry about, etc). If you do you'll be in big trouble. ------------------

you dont mind a little mud in a pothole now and then......

each one letting the other one have his/her own space. tell him/her that you love them each and every day. do/say anything you can think of to make him/her happy every chance you get. me and ms johnnie lou have been married for 23 years and have yet to have an argument!! course i owe most of that to her cause there have been times when she should have really got on my ass!!!  ------------------
