holy moly!! the food was incredible.... delicious! we both had a different specialty salad followed by buffalo rib-eyes .... and to finish the meal some incredible bourbon bread pudding.... yah.... it is not really bread pudding season, but evidently when the chef's have it on the menu, it is THE dessert to select..... the rest of the weekend, we explored some local fare .... flea markets .... park gardens ..... cruised toward grandfather mountain just for the heck of it..... and WOW! got to watch some cable tv which IS A BIG deal to us country folk who do not pay for telly!!!
anyways..... i just wanted to share what a fabulous weekend we had.... we had not had ANY vacation this year so it was SUCH a purrrrfectly timed series of events!!!
