I'm just so proud of my little girl - she's only 28.For my upcoming birthday she bought her old man 10 laps in a Busch car at Memphis Motor Speedway. She says all she knows about the old man's '69 Mach I is the "big blue thingy," air cleaner. She used to pass me tools as I worked on it -the car, not the air cleaner. Hot damn, it will be fun. ------------------ SkinnyMan Tupelo, MS Thank you, Thank you very much!

They have a Petty driving school at the Speedway in Vegas, and I've been throwing the idea around to go and try it. Seems like it would be a blast!------------------ William 68 Coupe "Restomod in Progress"

Got to Memphis Motorsports Park, went through class, suited up, was next in line, IT POURED. Go back 8/13. Drive On - Nice little concept, you follow a pace car around one car length behind and they build speed until you don't follow well. Will update. ------------------ SkinnyMan Tupelo, MS Thank you, Thank you very much! [This message has been edited by SkinnyMan (edited 06-28-2005).]

I did the Richard Petty Driving Experience at Orlando, they would not let me go past a max of 125 MPH. I got waved at twice for trying to pass. They frown on that. They should have hired faster pace car drivers.:-)

One of their promos indicated that someone did a lap of 103.3 on a 3/4 mile track. I'm supposed to stay a car length back and tag along. Supposedly if I folow well, they keep bumping it a 100 revs or so per lap. Go back 8/13 for the fun ride.------------------ SkinnyMan Tupelo, MS Thank you, Thank you very much!

Buddy went to the one here and did it. Said it was awesome. Same thing, as you keep going up the speeds until you get squirrelly. He was booking, I forgot the final speed, said he wished he would have had about 10 more laps though. He was just getting cushioned when it was done time. Got a nice plaque and all. Good luck and have a blast man! Luke
