So....the husband's promise to the kids, if you get a full scholarship to a college is he will buy them a brand new car (he's never bought me a brand new car!!).

My 14 yr. old hasn't really expressed any interest in the type of car he would want.

But the 9 yr old (my daughter) annouced "I wanna car just like mommy's"

Gotta love it!!

What ever car they want, regardless of make or model is what they should get. The thing to remember is that the car is the reward for doing well in school and that is the most important thing. If they have the drive to work hard and do well in school and save you a sh!t load of money on college or university costs, then what they drive is secondary (hopefully blue oval ) but if not they earned what ever it is.
