yup.... i almost cut my hair short again today.... went to see my hair-chikkie and decided to hold out a little longer and see if i can stand the "long hair thing" again-some more ......

i had hair so long i could sit on it for many many years... then, when i finally cut it i have had sooooooo much fun doing different things to it that i am not really ready to stop playing with it yet.....

so.....
here is the question.....

do you play with your hair too (colour... cut.... style.... colour some more.....?? )or have you have you had the same ol' boring-as$ed hair over and over for years and years???

used to be.... people i had not seen in years would see me and comment about how i still looked the same (boring as$ed long hair past my butt) and "dam*n!" you are still driving the same car????? (my sweet beautiful 67 cougar i still love and drive).... i will change my hair ..... but by god the car stays!!!!!!!!!!!

anyways....... give it up grrls....... just wondering if anyone else goes through these "what will i do with it next" things....

heh heh

this is as "girly" as kk gets!!! hahahahhaha

yup~

She kept that long hair for 20+ years, ummmm....I mean 10+yrs

When she cut it, she didn't tell me until I came to see her. That was a HUGH surprise!!!

Then for awhile there, it just got shorter and shorter and shorter and shorter......

Now me....I'm not sure what the natural color is anymore........

I've cut mine a time or two and have even played with the idea of cutting it again....but, since I've turned 40....ummmm, I mean 30....I'm just gonna be damned if I do!!! I'm trying to grow a$$hair here, so leave me alone about it already....

I mean a$$length hair.

I used to always more or less have the same hair style. Never too long, never too short. Then last year, I decided to lighten my hair drastically.. It was cool while it lasted but Im back to being a brunette again. Now I would love to do the Short hair thing just once.. It'll grow back, right?

I've been thinking of combing my back hair up over my head. I think it will reach, as long as I don't look down.

I'm with ya, kk. I used to have hair down to my behind then in college, I cut it all off. Time to grow up! (or whatever)

Now, I go to Alex's friend who does my hair and she's terrific. I just sit down and she makes me look nice. I don't know how because I never saw her wand or her magic dust or her potion book, but she manages well.

I wait till I can't stand it anymore, then she fixes me up! I'd send ya to her, but that's a bit of a drive for you, though you two would be welcome to come up for a "makeover" weekend!

Had mine short forever and now have decided that I want it long forever!!! I had it long one other time and then I got pregnant and whacked it all off, I regretted it as soon as I did it, and it took me 12 years to get it back the way I want it...hehehehehe.

i've had the same one length haircut with no bangs for about 7 or 8 years. i graduated from high school almost 6 years ago and i look the same, except for the high lights. it's not that i wouldn't like to try something new, i'm just scared. it's a whole lot easier to be able to put it in a pony tail and go. it takes me 10 minutes to get ready for work. this is hair, make-up, and everything! if you need a change go for it.

Now if you could just comb that
up over your scalp..

Or maybe use it as sideburns

A guy I work with has a pretty good mustache growing out of his nose..

Sorry to reply to my own post, but the above was mostly the opinion I had in my younger years. Now, I notice absolutely stunning women with short hair, etc.

Hey, that makes the decision easier, huh? :/

A very good friend of mine told me that women over 40 should not have long hair. I always thought this was kinda wacked but then I saw a shiny example. A woman with really long blond hair (not natural blond either), I thought I bet she's cute, when she turned around, she had to be at least mid to late 50's. Shock..... That confirmed it for me. Hair to your behind is better left to the young chics....

Yikes!

My older brother Don is like that. He has less hair than I do, but he grows one side long and combs it over the top. He thinks he's fooling people, but he looks pretty pathetic. Sometimes when he bends over, his hair lifts up and it looks like a toupee on a hinge.
