We must have some very busy grrls around here! No one has posted here in over a week. So . . . what have you been up to?Me: Making uniforms (12) for the race team. Ugh. Big food show for my company next week, getting ready for that. This weekend is the first race of the year (yeah!) so prepping for that as well. Oh, yeah, and taking good care of my Alex! Your turn, ladies. SPEAK UP!

Well I can finally breathe at last, tax deadline has passed. I've been so slammed with work, I had to personally file an extension which I've Never had to do... Beth, grrl you sound busier than me. It would take me a year to sew 12 uniforms. Let's just say that isnt my cup of tea..lol Been to track a few times, but mostly to just sit in the rain. But we'll try again this weekend. I had my car out for the first time earlier this month. It felt good to be racing again. I've got about 12 or 15 passes on it so far. Lookin to get it hooked up and winning some rounds. Shell

well, I've been on a long deserved vacation all week! Friday nite several of us went out and I actually sang karoke for the first time ever in a bar.....my girlfriend, (whose birthday we were celebrating, but had kid issues and turn out wasn't able to go) said, "Damn! you musta been drunk!!!" We had fun.... Then, Saturday I helped my kids w/a yardsale and also installed a NIC card in my P.C. so I could hook up to DSL. Sunday was our easter celebration. We went to church and I broke my Lenten Fast (processed sugar) by eating a dutch apple pie w/ice cream and some jelly beans and some chocolate and all the sugar i could find!!! Monday I cleaned house. Dusted ceiling fans, did laundry, cleaned baseboards...all that wonderful stuff..... Took the kids to the botanical gardens on Wednesday and then spent the day at the beach yesterday. It's raining today, so I guess I'll do more housecleaning today. Gotta go back to work on Monday to rest, I guess.......

So . . . what have you been up to?Went to my first race of the season last Sunday at US 41 Dragway (Alex was there). Won 2 rounds in No Box - broke out in the third . I'll be at Byron on May 18th, as I'll be running the points there in Pro class. Don't know if I'll make any races in between.
