man i was out workin on my bronco and i had to put the pully back onto my ps pump and mannnnnn was i having a hard time without a vise so i sit inside my truck and proceed to tighten it down using my leg as leverage its not workin very well. look around for something with friction and what do i see? maxi pad on the floor place that thing on my leg and maaaaaaan did that help soooo you ladies remember when you need somethin with some bite that wont let things slip just pull one out and go to work  kicks butt

LOL!!! great idea... BTW I always kept those in my trauma bag as an EMT (still keep them in my garage and vehicles kits) they make stellar bandages for those bloody accidents (no pun intented)!!

I have a friend who is a EMT and one day we are all out playing basket ball he open the rear door to his suv and out falls a this bag of tampons... ( they use them for gun shot wounds to plug built holes) You can only imaging how the next few weeks went.... Tampons on the hood in the cigarette lighter,taped on the hood ... his wife never forgave us..
