I just got off the phone with her. Her cat got hit by a car this morning, so she's not doing too well.  I don't think Erin is going to be in a first date kind of mood tomorrow, but we'll see. I feel terrible for her though.

I just got back from the best first date I've ever had. She came over about 5 and just now went home. We shot pool for a long time, played some air hockey, then decided we were hungry, so we went out to Waffle House (it was 10pm by this time - not much open on a Sunday night) and ended up cruising around in her 66 for an hour and a half after that. We came back to my neighborhood and went down to the end of the street and sat on the swings and talked for another couple hours before we decided to call it a night and she drove me back home. I'm on cloud nine now. It's been a long time. I needed this.  Oh, and she is DEFINATELY a grrl in every way. ------------------

She's looking more and more like a keeper. I'd been working on my car a little and was a tad sweaty and smelled like exhaust and gasoline. She wouldn't let me shower - she likes the smell of muscle car exhaust and gasoline. She also just insisted I uncork the exhaust and crank it up for her with open headers. Loud exhaust and a powerful, shaking engine makes her... well, we'd have to go to the bawdy shop for that one.

Dang. Likes the smell of exhaust and gasoline. I thought I was lucky to be married to a caterer. If I could only get her to LOOK at a car as something other than transportation I'd be happy.Ahh well, the food is so good though. Can't have everything.
