teeheehheehheeeeeeethat pic was taken at a spectacular lil' juke joint in memphis.... called "WILD BILLS".... i went to memphis on business and took ked with me .... on friday nite we hired a driver with a 55 caddy and he took us to some neat lil dives..... when we got to wild bills, the owner cleared off the table up front for us and asked us what "the ladies" would like to drink....
so we asked "what beers do you have?" and he replied:
"bud and bud lite" we looked at each other thinking ... eeeeeekkkkkk ... (we dont drink either of those) ... heh heh.... but we smiled and said.... "bring us two buds please...." and he replied: "all we serve is 40 ouncers...." and we smiled and said.... "please bring us one and please bring us glasses...." and...... all nite long we drank what could possibly be the coldest beer we have ever had .... of a brand neither of us cares for.... from multiple 40 oz bottles..... but..... we poured it like a fine wine into clear white beverage glasses.... and savoured every drop..... heh heh heh that was an awesome nite.... we had a blast!!! kick-butt blues band... dancing all nite long...... aaaahhhhhh.... it was great!! this is certainly one of my fave pics!! thanks for posting it steve  by the way....the pic we have from the end of the nite is very very very blurry..... teeheheheheheheheeeee

KK forgot to mention the exceptional food we had, also!! The couple sitting at the table next to us purchased a big ole plate of wings (Memphis Style!) and insisted we have some. Now, that's not necessarily a "food of choice" for me (and I think I can speak for KK too), but those were wonderful wings!! I think I had several..... Yes....that was a great evening! But the only delta blues we were singing was that we didn't bring warm enough clothes! We just danced a little harder and got a bit hotter!! That was a great trip, btw

I love the picture "D"...but since I've been here...my cars and my ugly mug have yet to make the front page..
Beginning to feel like a lonely step child...even though I know you carry all my pics in your wallet.....

Dang Miss KK, next time your in Mempho give me and Vikki a shout. We woulda been glad to tote ya'll to Como's steak house or Rendevous' BBQ and BB Kings blue bar, etc.... etc... I live less the 50 miles from Mempho and my sister lives in Bartlett. Needsless to say we know all the good "JUKES" in the blues city. Later

OH!!!i would LOVE to go back to memphis and have the advantage of a "local" (heh heh) to cart us around!!! thanks!! believe me i will take FULL advantage of you.... hahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaa
KIDDING!!!!!! we had BBQ at Neeleys (i am thinking that was the place) it was recommended to us by my client at Morgan-Keegan.... and we were not dissapointed! YUM!!!!!! we stayed at the talbot heirs guesthouse which is directly across from the peabody and is a funky little awesome place that used to be apartments and is now a cool place to stay.... i loved it! check it out.... we stayed in room #6.... http://www.talbothouse.com/ i definately want to go back... i am thinking boyfrinn would enjoy a weekend there.... even without the racecar in tow!!
