It may be WORSE than you even think. Consider how easy it would be for them to have operatives who take things to the ultimate level. Picture a clandestine meeting with a client in which the following offer is made:"For the right price, we can make her current boyfriend....disappear." And then the client steps in, as this seemingly great guy, to console the poor grieving woman. Some people from Earth First should stray a little from their usual targets and take those bastards down! Makes my blood boil! Sounds like it may not really be that much different than the old Murder, Inc. Give them time, and they will work up to it, if they haven't already. Money is The Great Motivator. could also be a "reverse scam" the girls may be all employed by the investigators. It would be an easy thing to set up then. create false records, use same girl for several meetings. Notice there is no guarantee of marriage or long term relationships. Once the $$ is transferred she could drop him like hot potatoes
