Hey Joe....tell her congrats for me.

I just got mine off in Oct so I know what she's going thru. Almost the best feeling in the world the first time you get to actually feel your teeth again with no metal!! Plus, it makes all the "extra-curricular activities" lots more fun, doesn't it!! Does she have to wear a retainer for a while?? Even that's not soo bad considering you can remove it!!

Have fun!

yeah she has to wear a retainer. She has one that you put in for the top of her mouth, and for the bottom she has a permanent retainer. Its a small wire glued to the back of her bottom teeth. Its pretty cool. Yeah me and her parents took her out to breakfast for some huge pancakes

kk you're a nut

ahhhhh, yes.... wore the braces all through High School!! My doctor was the "old fashioned" type and did not believe in those "new fangled" style, so I had to wear the ones that have the metal wrapped all the way around my teeth....Got them a few weeks before my 14th birthday. Mom made me a cake, that I'll never forget. It had a face on it with a big smile and aluminum foil teeth. She thought it was cute. I wore all that metal until I was a Senior!! But, it was well worth it.

Now, about retainers..... just ask KK about that! I think she was an expert in keeping up with them~~
