It's of the "GenII" variety.
It's heavier than the '89-'91's but more refined.
The rod shifter makes a big difference, other than that it's a fun car. I had a green '93 ( most common I think ) and it was great fun.
The clutch is a pain to service I'm told and it needs a pretty intense timing belt service every 60K, but once you get that intake off once it becomes pretty easy.
There are supercharged examples running around with over 300-400 WHP.
