need some help. i've got a 56 ford sed with a 429 c6, goes but won't stop. i rember that ford granada ft. spindles will work with minor grinding. what year granada? i have a 79 i can get for $50 is it the right year? thanks. this site is great snoop

Yes...The GRANADA swap is best for pre-1957.

Granada-Monarch-Maverick-Comet-Not Versailles

You may have to modify the outer tie rod end on the spindle.

-FATMAN FABRICATIONS- offers reworked GRANADA spindles (you supply cores) for eighty bucks that will bolt straight into your '56.

DO NOT (under any circumstances) pay attention to any text that suggests you convert to GM brakes.

I am looking for information concerning factory performance/aftermarket speed parts (1958/1960) used on the MEL (Mercury-Edsel-Lincoln) (Also Thunderbird 59/60) Engine Series (383-410-430-462) produced from 1958 thru 1968.

Also older FORD Special Service Tools
