Wondering if I could get your help. One of my good friends lucked into a 65 comet caliente for $1000. Car is in incredible shapeand the previous owners wife wanted it gone before a move to a new house. Car need the suspension freshend up. Is it the same suspension as a 65 Mustang? It would make is a whole lot easier to get parts. In addition, does anyone know a good parts supplier for comets? Thanks, Phil

The upper control arm from Comet and Falcon '64-'65 and Mustang '65-'66; lower control arm from Comet and Falcon '63-'65 and '65-'66 Mustang. Ball joints from '63-'66 Comet and Falcon, '65-'66 Mustang and '66 Fairlane all are the same.Good luck! Mr. Ed ------------------ '63 Falcon Futura 302/C4 '63 Fairlane 500 260/C4

Steering linkage is unique to Comet depending on engine size and production date. Thanks Alex. It has a 289. I don't have the production date. I am very jealous of my friend. I know the previous owner from car shows 15 years ago and knew of the exact car. That is how nice it was and how much I liked it. When my buddy told me he bought that exact car for $1g I about passed out. Anyway, he will be brining it over to start working on so I am sure I will have more questions and info soon. Thanks again to all for your help. Phil
