I am looking for information concerning factory performance/aftermarket speed parts (1958/1960) used on the MEL (Mercury-Edsel-Lincoln) (Also Thunderbird 59/60) Engine Series (383-410-430-462) produced from 1958 thru 1968. Also older FORD Special Service Tools -MEL Engine Forum-

I've always understood that the 2 seat birds were pretty nose heavy. It makes me wonder what handling is like with the 430. I'm assuming the 430 is heavier than the 312.I'll bet it turns heads with that 3x2 setup. John

The engine sits forward on not only the 55/57, but also the 58/60. FE swaps were popular years ago, but I bet that SUPER MARAUDER is something to behold...  ------------------
