Bob,I saw this post a few days ago and didn't respond as the sight of old iron being crushed/chipped doesn't set well with me either. I would hate to think of the savable cars and endless take off parts that were destroyed. I would assume NJ is a difficult state in which to actually operate a salvage yard. ------------------ I am looking for information concerning factory performance/aftermarket speed parts (1958/1960) used on the MEL (Mercury-Edsel-Lincoln) (Also Thunderbird 59/60) Engine Series (383-410-430-462) produced from 1958 thru 1968. Also older FORD Special Service Tools -MEL Engine Forum-

Sounds like a place in Warren County either in Washington a little ways off of rt31 on rt57. There is a book out there that has interesting daytrips you can do in NJ and I know its in there because that?s how we found it. I think its called Cobras or something like that but they were being forced to close down. They would just put a small sign out when they were open. I was there once about 10 years ago and there where only old cars there with most of them being from the 40s & 50s. I'm sure If I bring my Dad down there he would enjoy it if they are still open Then again he might get sick also. ------------------ Ed S. 68 S-code FB GT 4spd(now C6)/3.25 PS PDB 68 J-code(now 289) Cp Sprint"B" C4/3L00-9" PDB PS AC Bla-Bla-Bla 99 F150 XLT Ext/cab, 4X4, 5.4L, 3L55
