I'm completely out of my element here, so I turn to you all for advice.
I'm sitting with my 66 GT Mustang at Cruise Night Friday night and a guy strikes up a conversation. His son-in-law needs to move an old car off some property he's renting so he can vacate the lot. He needs to 'get rid of' a 50 Merc, 4 door, rear suicide doors, flathead v8. I went and looked at the car today. Very rusty, trunk and hood didn't want to open too far because of rusty hinges, glass all good, interior completely trashed.
What is this thing and is is worth rescuing it from being towed to a wrecking yard?
Scott

I'm getting the impression I could have this for maybe a couple hundred and the cost of towing. I don't think I really want it, but I hate to see old iron get junked!
