On another board, a contributor has found a cam grinder that will provide cams for the 430 LINC/MERC for a very reasonable price. Cam blanks have not been available for this series for years but he can have made blanks with a minimum number of 100.

He needs fifty participants that would be willing to buy a blank/cam. He will invest in the remaining fifty.

Purported cost for a blank is sixty-five dollars and a full grind (your specs) approx. one hundred and fifty dollars (including blank fee).

I am looking for information concerning factory performance/aftermarket speed parts (1958/1960) used on the MEL (Mercury-Edsel-Lincoln) (Also Thunderbird 59/60) Engine Series (383-410-430-462) produced from 1958 thru 1968.

Also older FORD Special Service Tools
