Looks like an old gasser. Those guys along with the Henry-J, Willys, Fiats, there was even a SBF powerd Thames panel truck that used to stir things up in the Mid-Atlantic area. Far from pretty but next to AA/FAs, these guys put on the hairiest shows.

I believe the four doors were called Ford Prefects...Anglias were all two doors.

I think BUDDY`S correct on this. i dont remember 4 door Anglia`s. I do remember 4 door Prefects.
the motor must be back very far,it looks like the seats are only in the rear & the mirrors are set up for the rear windows!

That makes sense, that what they called them in the fifties. I had a manual for those a while ago that I sold on ebay.

Yes. It had a small block chebby and the driver sat in the back seat to drive it. That car looked so tiny inside, though, I couldn't imagine actually using it as a 4 door. English people must be midgets! I don't think I could even climb into it.

Real small cars but what a blast they would be.
The other cool small car is a Tiger.I'd love one of those with a built 302 in it.
