A friend of mine has a nice 54 Ford 2 door Ranch Wagon, & is going to put in a Mustang 2 front frame clip. He is going to sell his stock front suspension (hopefully), but I was curious if it was the same as the 55 & 56 Fords, & if it was also the same as the 55-57 T Birds. Anybody know?

I know that Ford changed the frame and suspension in 57. they made a big deal out of advertising it. I do not know if 54 through 56 are all the same. I know they looked the same but looks are deceiving.

I realize that the 57-59 full sized Ford front suspension is very different, but I believe that the front suspension on the Thunderbird stayed the same from 55 thru 57.This 54 has wide, open upper control arms that look the same as the 55-56 Fords (non T Bird)as well as the 55-57 T Birds.
