Cool stuff on 57 Ford factory supercharged 312 Y block race cars. One is even from Maine! Look at all of the pics as most of these cars are now extinct. http://1957ford.com/racing/index.htm------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." no factory blowen 58-59 Ford signed the AMA ban on factory racing and lived up to it untill 1960, GM had "police options tri-power 348" and such. Really like the last two pictures with the injected FE powered 57 custom cause I gots one If I can keep every body else out of my pockets I can git mine back together and try the "Algon injectors" I've had for 25+ years and the clutch C-6 for a time or too!!!

There are reports that a only 1 or 2 Rancheros were equipped with the supercharged T-Bird 312. That would be one sweet ride. Oh how I wish the 312 in my '57 Fairlane was supercharged. ------------------ Gary M.- 1970 Mustang Deluxe SportsRoof (daily driver), 1946 Ford pickup, 1947 Ford pickup, 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Town Vic [This message has been edited by 70SportsRoof (edited 01-16-2003).]

I remember seeing a supercharged stick Skyliner at a car show that was very cool. It was sold new at Jim Moran's Courtesy Ford in Chicago just blocks from where I grew up.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." Very cool site! love that FE with the tall fuel injection stacks. I guess that was the car dragging the rear bumper in earlier pics. They really liked to move the rear ends forward back then and use those straight axle front ends didn't they?
