Does anybody here installed disc brakes on the front of their late 50`s Ford? Although I recently replaced the front shoes, wheel cylinders, & rubber hoses on my 59, I may look at installing discs up front, at a later date. I have heard the Granada spindles can be made to fit, but that the lower ball joint tapered hole needs to be enlarged, also the spindle hieght is different, making the front a fair bit lower. I have also heard that the mid-late 70`s Torino, Tbird, LTD 2 are supposed to pretty much "bolt in". Anybody got any input?

Has anybody tried any of the kits for a disc swap from any of the brake places, like Stainless steel or anything. I have my '57 Fairlane that I want to add disc brakes to, since drums would look dumb behind 16" polished Torque Thrusts II's. I've seen the kits, and have kicked around the idea, but haven't anything good or bad yet.
