Hi guys im not usally over here but i do have a 30 model A truck which I dont have a title for I found a title but no motor to go with it does anybody who or where i can run the numbers to see if it is in use now by someone else by a lost title? please help

I have no idea, it probably varies from state to state. Call your DMV and ask them.

did any states actually have titles in 1930? we only started getting them in ga. in 1963. of course we are a little late on everything. just thought i would say that before someone else did! lol

well that is possible but ive seen the title and have the vin and title number off of it and it was issued in 1956 so i guess they had something

Alabama seems to be an easy stae in which you can "create" a title. I used to ads in Hemmings all the time for title services in Alabama. Get an Alabama title and then transfer it to your state.
