Tracy, It's funny that you brought up a Mustang II. Terri and I just bought a '75 Mustang II promo car with box last week. It hasn't arrived yet, but looks great in the pictures. We shall see when it arrives. Dave & Terri ------------------ '65 Mustang Fastback '66 Mustang Coupe '02 Explorer XLT Common sense isn't common anymore.

I meant it was sorta ironic that a model company outside the U.S. would pick the II as a subject for a large scale kit. No U.S. company ever did.I know there are model companies around the world and kits are sold everywhere. How well was the II received in England? Tracy

The II had a fairly good following in its day, although never officially imported to the UK quite a few made it over here & many were converted to Right hand drive. Unfortunatly they never had the cult status that the 64-73's achieved so you still see II's being broken up for their engines, gearbox's & front clips for hot rods a pity, although not my thing they kept the name going through difficult times & earnt their place in the Mustang timeline.[This message has been edited by mach1mike (edited 04-07-2006).]

Pretty cool. I just picked up my first Mustang II model, the "Fire Fighter" Mustang II Pro Stocker. It was the first time I saw a Mustang II model in a store and so it became an impulse buy. It has been an awful long time since I built a model.------------------ Motor Safe!
