I just saw this on the Scode site,

Greenlight Toys out of Indiana is getting ready to produce a Coupe diecast of the 68 GT and 68 GT/CS with a 390 in both cars. I know currently there is no other company that produces a Coupe model. I have posted the link below for those interested.

I dont know how much they are going to be but I saw a 10th anniversary Trans-Am and it was something like $33.

With tax, that's what it ought to come out to at TRU. They're listing for 29.99 .

It had a list on the left side of the page of the people who carry the line, I just clicked on TRU, and it took me right to them.

EDIT: Ed, on the top of the page, it has "where to buy". That's where the list is.

Well Hell, they DON'T have them on the TRU site, but they carry the line, and they list at 29.99 . Maybe they are still in the process of making/shipping them out to the stores.

Well, since we got something like two feet of snow here over the weekend I think its still winter but by the end of the week it will probably feel like Spring.

Looks like they are the only ones that even have pre-orders too.

It's about dang time! I wonder if they know all of the possible combinations for the coupe? I imagine they will sell really well as long as they stay under the $30.

I just ordered mine, the GT Coupe/Highland Green. It's what my car (the color ) was from the factory. Haven't been to many toy stores lately, my 4 year old wants 1 of everything, and so do I!

Click on the link I posted right above Jeremy's response. It takes you right to the site, and then you decide which one you want, and just fill out the paperwork. Shipped UPS residential. Looks really cool, and it's the first car to go in my collection hutch, which will also go into the "Corral". That's what I'm naming my garage now I guess .

Thanks!

This place has them for a little less but it says Aug-Sep arrival.

The CS says July - Aug arrival.

I just received an email from Greenlight and they said that Toys R Us will have them online in the fall.

I'm guessing they want the Mom & Pop folks to get first crack at sales.

Money is tight so I'm holding out for a lower price at TRU, I hope. If not it'll make a nice gift for me for Xmas.

Just an update, they moved delivery dates back to Sept now, but the Man I exchanged emails with at die-cast alley said they are WAY worth the wait. Better be .

EDIT: Just to be clear, it was supposed to be delivered 2 weeks ago, then by the end of July, and now Sept. We'll see.

For anyone following this thread, the last reply had the send out date on the 20th of this month. I ordered this car on 6/4 of this year, so hopefully this will be the LAST delay in delivery. I'll let you know if it's worth the wait, of if you should look elsewhere.

I finially got the car. Other than the passenger door not matching up, it's an OK car. I wouldn't pay the price they want if I saw it first tho, it's not worth it, IMHO.

Yep, and from the wait, I thought it would be of much better quality. Oh well, I guess I'll continue building them from the box from here on out, unless I can check it out first.

Yeah, that bad fitting door must be for all of them as the pic shows it too! Thought about getting one and making a top down cvt. and doing the color like mine. Oh well.
