Your suggestions appreciated.
Let's get creative!

My club is having a diecast/model car show at the end of Feb.
We are setting it up with classes just like a real car show.
There is a variety of awards.

For my display I'm thinking of creating something like a barn/garage with a wooden corral. Hanging "Epperstang Stables" sign and putting out a bunch of models and diecasts. I even have little people like Steve McQueen and Carrol Shelby figures. Roadsigns and gas pumps.

My son has made some really incredible models, many which were created to resemble our real cars. We also have the nicer Franklin mint and some old rare diecasts.

Or I could be specific and create a PACE car display, Bullitt Display, Shelby only...

Whaddya think?

If this type carshow idea goes as well as it seems, we're going to invite other clubs and make it an annual event.
It's being hosted at a Ford dealership.

Joyce,
Sounds like a very cool way to have a "car show" in a confined space during the winter. Should be a blast, and let us know how it turns out.
I think your idea of the stable sounds great, that way you can mix and match the various model types without having to be specific to the display.
Enjoy the show.

Joyce,

Why don`t you guys make a wooden shelf unit out of wood (plywood, bead-board or what ever) in the shape of a mustang and have all your models displayed on the inside of the unit which is lined with shelves. it would look like a car cut in half, so you would have one big mustang filled with all of your model mustangs.
