I noticed a 64 Comet AMT kit on the shelf of my local hobby store, but I didn't buy it because it was $29.99 and lacked detail. No engine, no suspension, hood doesn't even open....just like an early 60's kit. Must be new on the market this year. I know I'll go back and buy it, I'm just being stubborn for now.

The '64 Comet is a re-issue of the 1964 issue "Craftsman Series" kit by AMT. I have an original molded in red plastic. They were also molded in yellow plastic. I've been waiting for this (in white plastic) for a long time. Now if AMT (or Model King) would re-issue the 1966 Comet...... Tracy

I went back and bought the 64 Comet. It drew me in. Picked up a 65 Falcon A/FX while I was there too.
