Hello...first time posting in this room.

What techniques do you guys use to get the super deep finishes I see on alot of scale models? It's Pinewood Derby time again in my kid's Cub Scout Pack and I would dearly love to put down a pretty intense paint job.

Thanks in advance,

Rick

I usually put a clearcoat on what I make. Then you could wet sand with 1000 grit paper, and then polish.

What do you polish with? I was thinking about using the same stuff I final out automotive paint with.

Thanks,

Rick
