Sun Star makes 67 & 68 XR7 Cougars. Here's the dirt: P/N 1540 is a 67 XR7, Met Green; 1541 is a 67 XR7, Red; 1542 is a 67 XR7, White. 1560 is a 68 XR7, Red w/ vinyl top; 1561 is a 68 XR7, Met Beige w/ vinyl top; 1562 is a 68 XR7, Met Blue w/ vinyl top. All have styled steel wheels and a 390. They are pretty good die cast's and cost about 30 dollars or so.

My bad, I actually have 2 of the red 67 Xr7 cast ones from sunstar. what I should have said was the kits, I would like to -build- a 67 or 68, to look like the car I drive.

The 67/68 Cougars haven't been available for quite some time. I ocassionally see them on eBay - but you're gonna really pay for them! A better bet might be a resin transkit from Modelhaus. I hear their stuff is spot on (although it's not exactly cheap, either).

Here's a link to their '67 Cougar kit:

No picture; but it sounds like everything is there...
