Almost like Christmas already. (Yes, I am into consumerism of it all!)
Today was the annual toy show here.
Bought lots of new cars.
New Johnny Lightning set of six.
A 1:18 Black 1979 Boss 429 with flames.
A red Shelby GT500 model.
Several others.

BUT we ran into a club member who has probably the largest collection of diecasts of anyone we know. He lives near the Fairgrounds where the toy show was held. So we went to his place.
He just received a new 2005 1:18 diecast a few days ago. It is the silver Concept car. Looks awesome.
I found the website and have now ordered both the silver hardtop and the red convertible.

When we got home, the new Danbury catalog was in the mail. I ordered this:
Spirit of America Mustang

Mike,
Toy "R" Us has the Ford GT you are talking about. Bought the white w/ blue stripes one there yesterday.

Joyce,
Where did you find the Johhny Lightning Release 3 Mustangs? We can't find them here in Norfolk.

The TRU up here is buried in "2 Fast 2 Furious" junk,and 71 Vegas. I passed on a yellow/black Ford GT a while back,and wished I didn't.
