Went and raided all of my favorite places to find new Johnny Lightnings and other die casts. Not good. No of the Pony War Mustangs release 3's. Hardly any 1:18th scale stuff unless you want the ridculusly slow and tame crud.

But the night wasn't a total bust. Found a few J/L's I didn't have:
'70 Cobra Torino with Tin (pro collector series)
'70 Torino GT (motor trend series)
'67 Cougar (classic gold series)
'68 Cougar (hot rod magazine series)
Best find at Target, buried behind a bunch of crud, ETRL 1:18th Silver '73 Mach 1.

So the night wasn't a total bust, but I expected find a lot more out there with Christmas comming soon. Who knows.

Yeah, this is the best time of year to start looking for cars. I have all except the 67 Cougar, and only because it doesn't appeal to me.

I got a Gold series 70 Cyclone, and a few mopars. Two were 71 R/T Challengers, with the left front wheel missing. Also got a Road Runner, and the D-100 Project.

I need to segregate them better from the Fords, the tub is starting to melt.

I did also get a 1/18 69 Boss 302.

Mike. I screwed up a couple of weeks ago and didn't buy a new Ford "GT" and an old "GT-40" in 18th scale at Toys R Us. They were gone last night. Oh well.
