My wife and I have been dueling over some closet space,in particular a shelf unit in it. Well,I finally gave in and pulled my loose cars. I was getting tired of watching them get piled on,and dusty.,so I wrapped them in bubble wrap, and put them in tubs for now. I think that when I get caught up on my cars,I will make a display case,or two,for the garage.

Mike, I'm not looking forward to our next move. We have so accumulated so much "Mustang Stuff" that it isn't funny. I have a lot of wrapping and packing to do. But I know what to do in our next house in order to build more shelves and use them wisely to display all the diecasts. I could also use one of those old store turning displays to hang a bunch of these J/L's, Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars on. Check out your local auctions for display cases. We bought one, at an acution, for sixty bucks. Dave & Terri ------------------ '65 Mustang Fastback '02 Explorer XLT I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it! I do have an advantage at work, where i can occasionally get some mirrorized plastic returns, for free! I just got 5 sheets 4X4 that are laminated, with a prisma effect to them. They change shades as you walk by them. I want to use them for the backs of display cases.

Sounds real Mike! I'm going to buy a few round display mirrors to put under a couple of Shelby's I just bought on E-bay. Scored a Lane '66 Shelby GT-350 and a Hot Wheels Legends set of '67 Shelby GT-500's. One is 1:24th scale and the other is 1:64th scale. But I think I might be in the dog house with the wife. She doesn't know about the Lane Shelby, yet. Dave & Terri ------------------ '65 Mustang Fastback '02 Explorer XLT I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it! All is happy now. I have my fake grass set up on the workbench, and a small car show going, for now. I've been mulling over making a car dealership diarama. To be to scale,I think it would be at least a 4x8'.
