This is a great die-cast. Very detailed, although somewhat inaccurate, assuming it is supposed to be the Torino from TV. I think it is, because it says 'Starsky and Hutch' in big letters right on the box! TV car had bench seat and column shifter, and bigger tires in back. The die-cast was based on John Quirk's car. For some reason, the box states that the car has a 400 motor, but tyhe die-cast has a 351 decal on the air cleaner. The first season cars(which this is based on)were3 351's. The later cars had 460's.
Oddly, the die-cast has rear-seat window regulaters, yet These Torino's had fixed rear windows!
The stripe is a little goofy, but all in all, this is a great die-cast.

The rear windows go into the c-pillar. The fixed cars had the "opera" windows.

Not true. My 76 Gran Torino 'Starsky & Hutch' LE has fixed quarter-windows from the factory, and it obviously does not have opera windows. Maybe it depended on the trim levels or something like that.
