I have a friend who loves red '65 - '68 Mustang coupes. Does anyone make a large scale model of any of these year coupes?------------------ "My doctor says I have a malformed public duty gland and a natural deficiency in moral fiber; and that I am, therefore, excused from saving universes." ... Yes, there is a 1/16 scale 65 coupe on the market. I think it's by Monogram. The car on the box is yellow. I got one for a gift and gave it to a builder about 4 years ago to make into a MM clone. It still has the wrapper on it as far as I know. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." Thanks, Alex. My fault, I should have been more specific... I need a large scale (1/25 or larger) diecast, already assembled, '65 - '68 Mustang coupe model. ------------------ "My doctor says I have a malformed public duty gland and a natural deficiency in moral fiber; and that I am, therefore, excused from saving universes." ... Uh........Thudster, 1/16 is large! It's a bunch larger than the 1/25th. The department stores all have assembled 64-66 die casts for sale everywhere also. $9.995 and up. Many different colors too! ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." Yup, 1/16th scale is big. I meant that I was looking for the diecast, already built ones. I haven't been able to find any coupes locally, only fastbacks and convertibles, so I was curious if they made any. ------------------ "My doctor says I have a malformed public duty gland and a natural deficiency in moral fiber; and that I am, therefore, excused from saving universes." ... Dwayne, Try E-bay. Lots of die cast models there. Mira by Solido has 1/18 black '65 coupe on the market. Also AMT has a 1/25 '65 coupe, but it has to be put together. Just a couple of ideas for you.Dave & Terri ------------------ Poison Ivy (Dave's) '65 Fastback Modified 289 4V, C-4, dual exhaust, styled steel wheels, rally pac, A/C '02 Explorer XLT, Black, 3.73:1 limited slip, class III tow package!

Thanks for being on the ball,Dave! Alex, that 1/16 car was made by AMT/Ertl. IIRC,the details aren't 100% accurate on it.
