What's the most expensive kit you've bought? Did you open it and build it?
I've bought a few $100 kits (old issue) with the intention of building them.
1) 1968 issue - 1963 Ford F-100 with camper
2) 1964 issue - 1964 Ford Galaxie convertible (with working head and tail lights)
3) 1963 issue - (first issue) Ford 1953 F-100

I've hung on to the cheaper kits,about $10. I almost bought a 1/8 71 Mach1,though. It was $110,and incomplete.

Did he put it together? For me,the hardest part of owning that would be to NOT assemble it.

That's wacked!

The most I've spent is $13, and I'm still pissed about it!

Somebody needs their head examined. All the info I have says that the original Tjets were molded in there respective colors. This one has obviously been painted. For $2K+ you could buy a life size version.

Here's one I bid on but it got ridiculous:

One that had been opened only went for $110 two days earlier.
