I collect anything mustang, but mainly stick to the brochures and magazine ads. I do have an unopened quart of "Mustang Motor Oil" in the old cardboard round can by the Mustang oil company. Which reminds me, there is a guy who attends the Portland swap meet (it is in one month) every year that has a few of these left and sells them for around $20, if anyone is interested I can pick one up for them. Also, Steve do you have the original magazine ad of the '72 sprint fastback and coupe with the surfer in the background? I won a bid on ebay for multiple ads and wound up with a couple of these and could part with one if you are interested!!------------------ Duane 71 Fastback (his) under resto (351C-4V C6 auto) 73 Mach 1 (hers) (351CJ 4 speed) 66 289/2V coupe (daughter Ashley's) 89 LX 2.3 convertible (daughter Amanda's) M & M Member #730

Yes, I have the two different surfer ads and the ad with the Mustang, Maverick, and Pinto trio, and I have them framed and hanging in the shop. Thanks, though. ------------------

I collect the old ads although I havent added one to my collection in a while. Also have the Life magazine with the Mustang intro in it along with a sorta postcard thing the dealers gave out with the Mustang standard equipment and options listed from '64 (picture of a lady and a white coupe with "FORD MUSTANG- The car designed to be designed by you!" above it on the front, list on the back). Lucked upon the card, was stuck in a back case of an antique shop here. I have an unused Ford pay envelope from the 50's too .------------------ Tim M&M Member #35 1965 Mustang coupe, 200 I6, Holley 2300, Clifford header, true duals w/ 26" Smithys 1988 Mustang GT AOD vert, 15.810 @ 88.871 mph 100% stock w/ no traction 1976 Silverline Comoro 18' trihull ski boat, 188 hp 302 I/O, another toy http://all.at/mustang https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/I65Stang.html

Dozens of diecasts, hot wheels, models etc... Original Shelby dealer ads given to me by M&Mer CharlieB. Posters up the whazooo! Three Snap-on Mustang mini-tool boxes. A white 64.5, black 79 Pace car, and red 94. Still want the burgundy 68 and blue 70 Boss mini tool box.The entire Ford dealer snow village. Has the dealership with a red Mustang on a turnstyle in the front window, three ceramic mustangs displayed outside the dealership and a Ford tow truck and a lift. Also a billboard for the dealership. Lots of Mustang Pace car stuff. All three years. 64.5, 79, 94. Photographs of the cars at Indy. Magazine articles, ads. My favorite ad that I have two copies of came from Teen and Seventeen magazines in 1966. Shows a young girl on sitting on the hood of a PINK 66 coupe. Caption says "Drive a Mustang the same shade as your lipstick." Was for a cosmetic company contest. A 67 ad of the Mustang Pledge. Have a Pink 66 shelby 1/18 diecast too. All three, red, white, and black Jim Beam 65 whiskey decanters, unopened still full. Also an Ezra Brooks 79 Pace car unopened whiskey decanter. Six Mustang cookie jars. Just bought posters of 20th, 25th, 30th, and 35th Mustang Aniversaries. Will frame them and group them together. Two Mustang barstools. Also have a huge 2001 Bullitt banner, 4x10ft. It is a prize possession - given to us by a very special person. There's more, but you get the idea, I'll buy anything Mustang. J. [This message has been edited by 66HIPO&more (edited 03-18-2002).]

It didn't occur to me until now, but I guess you could say I collect Ford technical literature, especially from Ford's Total Performance days. I get them mostly from Osborn's and I've been putting them in binders to try to organize them. On the binders, I stick my collection of Ford decals, like Autolite, Ford Muscle Parts, Shelby, etc... ------------------

That would be cool, I'd be happy to help. I have quite a few coffee mugs, too. I asked Pam what she thought of me making a rack to display them in the kitchen and she looked at me like I was crazy.

M&M Mugs, Great idea. I'd get a set.I collect the brochures and window stickers for all vehicles I've purchased. Also, the sale ads. I have also kept one of each of my license plates, up to 5 now. I also have managed to keep one key from each of the vehicles too. Not a vast collection, but they have significance to me. ------------------ "The MoneyManager" Heide & Homes too! Steve, when we had our kitchen redone quite a few years ago, I had a shelf installed below the wall cabinets for my mugs. Thought that would be enough for all of them. Now, 3/4 of the collection is in boxes Every few months, I rotate them. I use 90% of them for my morning coffee.Carole

Used to collect stuff but recently gave to a friend, a huge magazine collection, keeping only Mustang ones. My MMonthly is only lacking the first year and a half. Have some Mustang brochures from 65-68 and a few ads. My favorite is a full page color from Life, entitled Six and The Single Girl. It features an identical twin to MY 66. I have the orig plate for my 66 and 67(which is a 2 yr plate. Goes on my 68 re- registered. Also had a lot of Corvette stuff which I sold.

A new thing I've started collecting are Autolite Shop Tips. These are technical handouts Autolite used to send to Ford mechanics and parts people, usually discussing new Ford products and repair techniques. They give cool insight into the world of Ford Service in the '60s and '70s.------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 Be sure to remember our sponsors, Mustangs Plus, NPD, and Osborn Reproductions.

I also collect '57 Fairlane ads, and '70 Mustang ads.
