Anybody know if any companies make a 1967-1968 Mustang coupe, either die-cast or plastic. I've been looking for one, but haven't found any.

There are none, Entex made a convertible that came with a removable hardtop, see them on ebay occasionally.

If you find one let me know. I would like to have one also.

I do remember a 67 Conv. in 1:16 scale. I just can't remember the brand. Kmart had them.

Bibbs68 (Jeremy) is working on kit-bashing a '68 coupe. He has grafted an AMT '66 coupe roof and trunk lid onto an AMT '67 fastback. He still has to work out the rear window frame details. Is a '67/'68 Cougar roof/rear window similar to the '67/'68 Mustang?

I think the window pitch is the sameon a Cougar, but there may be abodyline or two to fill in. The 66 roof is all wrong,IMHO.

DOH! I was hoping you guys forgot about this! It has been almost 2 years since I started that project. Had to start over due to a runaway dremel tool

I have started a 1/64 '67/'68. It should be done in a couple of weeks. I'll keep you posted on that one too.

Good grief! It went for $69 + S/H! I'll keep working on my kit for that price.

I saw that, if there is one, there has to be more, I go to a model show every winter and the vendors did not have one in December, it must be new on the market, I'll keep looking and yell when I find them.

This particular one (above) was made by Motor City Resin Casters. I emailed the seller to get the manufacturer. I have not been able to find any info on them yet. I'll keep trying.

Let us know,I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who's been hunting one. For some reason I bought one of everything from 70 back and can never find a 67 coupe (which is what my fullsize car is) and the only one I really wanted in the first place.

Thanks, my pleasure

I was out surfing the www and looking for something else when I ran in to it. I kept the link as I also have a fullsize ?67 coupe and have been looking for a scale model. I?ve only seen ?67 Shelby Fastbacks and ?67 Mustang Fastbacks in the stores here in Sweden, northern Europe.

I sent an email to MCRC regarding rear seat, package tray, and a 68 conversion kit and here is what they replied with:

"We are going to do the 68, but its gonna be a bit. we have several projects
first. We do have a rear seat and shelf tray, for some reason it didnt get
included in the pic of the 67 body and parts."

Thanks to our good friend Hakan, for the link to MCRC
