Well, with all this divorce crap going on in my life, all of my memorabilia and die-cast collection has been trapped up at the house with my soon to be ex-spouse. Not for much longer though!! I'm heading up this Saturday to get all the rest of my clothes, my tools, car parts, care care equipment, shop stuff, computer, workstation and all my die-casts and memorabilia!!!! Yahoooooo!!!Apparently the only thing that she destroyed was the car show display stand for my Mustang (who knows why ), but the rest is just as I left it. I have a place to store all that stuff until I get my own place in April. It'll be nice knowing that it's all safe, and not at the mercy of her moods and temper. Just thought that I would share... I'm excited!!! ------------------ Cheers, Ian M&M Member #395 ------------------- '79 Mustang Indy 500 Pace Car Ian's Pace Car Website Vancouver Island Mustang Association Website Indy Pace Car Registry of Mustangs Official Website "If you get to thinking you are someone of some importance and influence, just try ordering another persons dog around." - Author Unknown

Man, sorry you have to go through that. My advice is to bring a big enough truck so you can get everything in one shot. Who know when you'll get that chance again. Also, bring a witness!!!------------------

Got both... a 16 ft. cube van and a couple of friends to help out. There may also be an RCMP officer (off duty) on hand, just to serve as a witness. I plan on being in and out of there as quickly as possible. Everyting that I'm taking has been approved by her and her lawyer (and mine), so there will be no arguments. Part of the deal was that everything had to be in the condition that it was when I originally left the residence. I am bringing a camera to document any damage, before I touch anything. Wish me luck!! Ian

I was lucky with my first wife. The split up was pretty peaceful, even though she managed to keep some of the good stuff. You only notice much later when you say something like "Hey, let's pop in my Iron Butterfly album... ...Hey! where's my Iron Butterfly album???" Multiply that by a couple hundred times... ------------------
