Has anyone seen the Oct '06 Automobile magazine? It states that Ford is bringing out a Shelby GT Mustang with a "Non-blower-assisted" V-8 in the mid $30K range. I didn't read the entire article to see what differences it will have from a stock GT, but it could be an affordable Shelby for the masses provided that the dealers don't get greedy with this one as well. The Shelby GTs are pretty much the same thing as the GT-H rental cars, except the Shelby GTs have a manual transmission rather than an automatic.Differences of the Shelby GTs vs. regular GTs: 25 more horsepower Better suspension Different wheels Some exterior styling differences (hood, scoops, etc) Only available as white w/silver stripes or black w/silver stripes ------------------ Frank S.----MCA Member 40390 '03 Mustang GT coupe '77 Ghia--"II Good" My GT on MMS

Frank thanks for the details. I don't care for the limited colors, but it sounds like a good comprimise between a GT and GT-500. Charlie
