We have a gathering of hotrodders at the local ice cream stand every 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month. Last night a red '07 Shelby covertible shows up. It was a beauty. It has the Cobra embroidered on the seat backs, it had a super charger, and the vented hood. It was up close, everything I had seen in photos .I must be getting old. I just don't see paying approxomately twice what a Mustang GT convert would cost for the Shelby. Maybe the differnce is behind the wheel. I am sure the additional horsepower would put a terminal grin on my face, but unless I was a bucks-up collector, there is just not enough visual difference for me to have a jones for it more than a new Mustang GT. Must be the two college tuitions making me more fiscally responsible.... Charlie

I would not pay the dealer over charge from the invoice. I can make my GT whipp up on the GT500 for about 6-9K and have a better time dooing it. My dealer has a 7 person $2000 down waiting list to pay $10K over sticker. ------------------ WAYNE CURTIS 2005 Mustang GT "Legend" Satin Silver,Premium,Interior upgrade,Charcoal leather, cast wheels,
