Sorry, I didn't search the archives...Just bought a 2006 GT and wondering about the traction control button. What does it do? Turn it into an electonic detroit locker or something?JimBob ------------------ 67 Coupe, Father bought new, Ford Racing 5.0L Crate motor (E303cam/X303heads) GT-40 EFI, Cobra Electronics, Tremec 5 speed. It senses slip at the rear wheels. It'll bog the engine down until the slip goes away. Very helpful in snow....I call it the fun kill switch!

No problem. Freaks you out the first time it kicks in. I thought there was something seriously wrong with my engine except for the glaring green idiot light on the dash that comes on clearing up what just happened.

It works well for most dry slides but in the winter this ol rear wheel driver turns it off when jumping into traffic on snow . A lil slip still means you are going forward!------------------ WAYNE CURTIS 2005 Mustang GT "Legend" Satin Silver,Premium,Interior upgrade,Charcoal leather, cast wheels,
