Had to get the oil changed in the Explorer today at a local Ford Dealership. The had three '05 GTs. Had to go look. All three priced at $31,090.00. Two had sticks and one auto. What got my attention the most is that all three had the rear spoiler deleted. What the heck is up with that??? They just didn't look right. Plus I wouldn't have had the 17" painted aluminum rims either. Sad I tell you. But they had a yellow coupe with the black racing stripes and a rear spoiler. Now that looked like a Real Mustang. Sales rep didn't bother me until I was walking away. Asked if I wanted to talk about the new stangs. I said no. I have a '65 and a '66 at home. Ford is having trouble with the quality of the spoilers from the supplier. Rather than hold the cars up for back ordered spoilers, the dealers are given the option of recieving them with a "spoiler delete".------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First SS/MA in the TENS! GT's on our Ford lot are stickered at $28000. Of course the longest one has sit on the lot has been 2 days... Folks around here are buying them as fast as the drive them off the truck. So far they've sold a white one, a dark red one, a black one and a bright red one. Oh, and all have the spoiler...

Leaving the spoiler off just makes it easier to purchase an aftermarket ducktail spoiler and install it. *That's* the way to go. At least, that's what I'd be doing. ------------------ Frank S.----MCA Member 40390 '03 Mustang GT coupe '99 Mustang coupe '77 Ghia--"II Good"
